A Drop In The Ocean

About Me

My name is Jackie.

I am a 30 something, minister.  I was just ordained in June 2011, and went from living in a city of almost 700,000 people to a community of 74-80 people (we’re not too sure on that).

Since my move the most common question I hear is, “and how do you like it?”

The truth of the matter is, I love it.  It has been a big adjustment to say the least, however Newfoundland certainly lives up to its reputation of being the friendliest province in Canada.

I don’t have a particular agenda with my blogging, I just like having a central place where those I love can stop by and check in on what I am doing/thinking now.

I don’t always blog about faith/religion, but sometimes I do.  I also blog about health and wellness, the latest thing I have seen in the news, or whatever else pops into my mind.  Despite my training, and calling I don’t yet have it all figured out.  I’m still trying to find my way in the world, I imagine I will be for a while.  I hope you are too!

    • Oh yeah, I forgot you are not on facebook anymore. I am finishing my training in New Westminster because I have most of the academics completed and they feel that out of the province extended field would be the best thing for me to get a wider level of experience….I think
